The Prosperity™ Long-Term Care Fund was established in the Spring of 2008. The goal of the Fund is to improve the quality of care for Ottawa’s seniors by providing annual, growing distributions to health care providers. Its funds will be generated from various community fundraising initiatives, individual donations and other planned giving. As an endowed fund, Prosperity™ will provide an increasing and reliable source of funding to our health care providers, outside of the current funding mechanisms.
Retire-At-Home is proud to be a major sponsor of the Prosperity Fund by donating to its fund. We are also a sponsor of the Caregiver of the Year Award which was established to recognize non-professional caregivers and the personal sacrifices they make to improve the quality of life of the elderly, whether family member or friend.
