Ottawa Business Journal recognizes Jonathan Martin as Top Forty Under 40
Ottawa, Ontario – May 6, 2006 - Jonathan Martin, Executive Director of Retire-At-Home Services was acknowledged as one of Ottawa’s top young leaders by being awarded the Top Forty Under 40 award.
The 40 honorees, nominated by prominent business leaders in the community, are chosen to recognize their outstanding professional achievements and contribution to the well-being of the Ottawa community. The winners are from various segments, including law, health care, and hi-tech.
“It is an absolute honour to be among the many wonderful, successful, and giving professionals in Ottawa,” expressed Mr. Martin, at the Forty Under 40 Gala Dinner.
Mr. Martin leads the operations of Retire-At-Home, which provides personalized home and health care services to individuals who are dealing with health concerns that affect their independence. They empower their clients with the choice to stay at home for as long as they wish while maintaining their independence. Retire-At-Home began as a home-based business in 1994 and now employs more than 150 people and has serviced thousands of clients.
Mr. Martin is very active in the community. He serves as a committee member for Laughter Day, which promotes the benefits of laughter throughout the city of Ottawa. Many senior, children, public health care, and private sector organizations participate in this major event. He also advises on many committees throughout the city.
