I always was fortunate to have the “best” clients despite the challenges of their illnesses. I was fortunate to have been able to work with a terrific office staff, I was fortunate to have worked with very nice field co-workers. I was fortunate to have had bonuses and free educational courses and a care-giver of the month award… because of my good fortunes with Retire-At-Home Service I was able to be the best I could be. You really brought out the best there was in me, which made me do my mob well and made me look forward to going to work everyday…real job satisfaction.

Dear Retire-At-Home,
When choosing my profession as a PSW (Personal Support Worker), I had to map out what kind of company or organization I would like to work with. I decided that my main criteria would be based on the following values:
- Providing a client base that best suited the level of care that I was able to supply.
- Understanding of my individual hourly needs to meet my income requirements.
- An organization that fully understands the word compassionate when dealing with our senior population.
- Most importantly, a company or an organization that is able to successfully use the words professional, caring and home care all in the same sentence.
In the early years of my career I worked for companies that may not have the best interests of the clients or employees in mind.
Six years ago I was interviewed for employment with Retire-At-Home Services and happily joined a healthcare providing team that truly understood the true needs of their clients in an n at home setting. Being a family owned and operated business, Retire-At-Home Services truly comprehends the challenges of all of the parties involved in the health care plan. They care about the client, their family members as well as the personal support worker. I have never worked for a company that feels more like family than an employer. I feel very fortunate to work in an environment that shares a common view of customer service with me.
I am looking forward to many more years of working for Retire-At-Home Services.

Hello Everyone,
I would like to thank Retire-At-Home for being a company that truly cares for those in need. I would also like to say thank you to Retire-At-Home for standing by me and being so supportive of me on decisions that at times were difficult. It is rare that a company actually will listen to an employee and with the family approach taken by Retire-At-Home, I, as an employee have always found that management and owners were approachable and willing to listen to ideas or objections. I could not have asked for a better employer during my past four and a half years.
