Throughout their careers, both Nahida and Alnawaz have been dedicated employees in management and human resources positions. Outside of their work lives, however, they dedicated most of their time and energy to their faith and to charitable organizations that serve those in need. They first met during a national charity conference in Ottawa, where they found an instant connection with each other, both enjoying community and philanthropic work.
Before joining Retire-At-Home, Nahida and Alnawaz had never realized that their passion for helping others could be combined with their work lives. After dealing with their own personal health crisis, they spent more than a year searching for something in their professional lives that would bring them as much satisfaction as their philanthropy. They found that passion in Retire-At-Home.
As Owners and Executive Directors for Retire-At-Home Services in Vancouver, Nahida and Alnawaz bring a wealth of management knowledge, years of experience in community involvement, and hands on work in helping those in need. They share the same philosophies of dedication and commitment to quality of life and are proud to have been chosen as members of the Retire-At-Home family.
