Home Safety Inspections are a required part of your service with Retire-At-Home, and will be conducted on your home, at no additional charge, during the following times:
The goal of Home Safety Inspections is to prevent emergencies in the home resulting in injury or death by identifying risk areas in the home such as:
- trip hazards,
- storage of dangerous chemicals,
- unsafe walkways or handrails, and
- many other sources of potential danger.
Any risk areas that are identified will be discussed with you and arrangements will be made to remove or fix the hazard. Employees have been trained to notice any risk areas when entering the home. This will help prevent any emergencies from occurring in the home.
